Who We Are
Mabey Bridge is part of the Mabey Group, a private family owned group of companies with a turnover of £150 Million and approaching 1,000 employees.
Mabey Bridge has a turnover of £70 Million and 400 employees. Based in Chepstow, South Wales, the company's history can be traced back to the construction of Brunel's Wye railway
bridge in 1849.
Mabey Bridge operates out of two Divisions. The UK Division supplies, paints and erects high quality steelwork for bridges, sign gantries,
monopiles, wind turbine towers and other heavy structures in the UK and Eire. The International Division markets the company's innovative range
of pre-engineered modular steel panel bridge and car park systems worldwide.
Mabey Bridge has two highly automated manufacturing facilities with a combined annual production capacity of 65,000 tonnes. The Lydney facility in Gloucestershire is
dedicated to the manufacture of the company's modular steel bridge systems. The company's Chepstow facility specialises in the fabrication and protective treatment
of plated and other heavy steelwork for the UK and Irish markets. With 24/7 operating to meet the tightest of delivery schedules, these facilities use the latest
manufacturing techniques including fully integrated CADCAM and robotic welding.

Erection and other site works are managed directly by our dedicated site teams. Design of the company's product range and of bridge erection schemes and associated
temporary works is carried out in-house by Mabey Bridge's highly experienced team of specialist engineers. All design work is checked and signed off by a Chartered Engineer.
The company continues to invest in engineering, technology and skills to develop new and existing products and services and to ensure Mabey Bridge remains at the forefront
of its industry.
Our attitude to safety is summarised in just ten words: Nothing is worth doing unless it can be done safely. All of Mabey Bridge's activities are carried out in accordance
with the company's Integrated Management Systems which are certified in accordance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001:2000.
Mabey Bridge is a member of the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) and the Steel Construction Institute (SCI),
is a Registered Qualified Steelwork Contractor (RQSC), and is Link Up approved and a recognised Investor in People (IIP).

traditional design techniques and full scale testing to ensure complete peace of mind.

All of our bridge systems are configured to make transport to site – even in some of the World's remotest locations –
simple and easy. Maximum use of off site manufacturing and assembly ensures minimal site works and associated construction times.
